Ralston Rhino

LUGNuts gearhead LinoM is back with another jaw-dropper. Behold the Ralston Rhino. The fictional Ralston family approached the fine builders of LUGNuts to create the next thing in highway hauling and Lino has delivered. I can just imagine the driver climbing through the suicide doors into the crazy forward leaning cab, initializing the anti-grav capabilities and firing up the turbine...then hauling 22.6 tons of Vienna sausages or something to Toledo.

Belynia Extended

Some of our loyal readers will instantly recognize this castle from a previous post we did on Belynia Castle. Well Belynia is no longer just a castle but has been expanded out to an entire village. Simon really took this village in a direction that I was not expecting and that is more than OK and I am really floored with the way it turned out. When taking a closer look at the village make sure to check out all the additional details he added including the docks and the water technique on the shore line.

Cool Critters

There have pretty much always been cats at my house, from "Tiki" the siamese mix I had as a kid to "Crash" and "Ashley" they cats I have now. None of them have been particularly cool, at least not as cool as these critters by Arzlan. I suppose Crash is sorta cool, when he's not barfing or suffocating us in our sleep, but Ashley is essentially a furry speed bump, useless. She's like a butterball turkey wearing a fur jacket. I've never had a rabbit, but judging by this pic it's the ringleader. Like that friend you had as a kid with all the best bad ideas.

Buy War Bonds

“Series E Defense bonds! Each one you buy is a bullet in the barrel of your best guy’s gun!”
— Captain America

The Cap doesn't mess around when it comes to supporting our troops, and JaredChan doesn't mess around when it comes to outstanding building. There's so much to love in this diorama, the bunting, the eagle, the dancing girls and of course Red Skull's sweet ride. But for the me the stand out is the stars and stripes shield, awesome.

The Death Mobile

As you know I rarely feature digital models. Not that I have anything against virtual building, I use LLD and Brickforge all the time. But I only use them as a design tool, building always follows. That being said I cannot resist this MOC of one of the greatest vehicles ever, the Death Mobile from the classic Animal House. And it really wouldn't have been complete without Bluto, nicely done mmbace.

Fluttershy And Discord

My good friend and Bricks Of Character cohort Iain Heath is back with another stellar MOC. From everyone's favorite anthropomorphized equestrian digitally rendered animated entertainment series My Little Pony comes Fluttershy and Discord. You can see these in person at Emerald City Comic-Con this weekend along with everyone's favorite British accented caffeine powered bipedal creative plastic brick arranger, Iain.

Siege Tank

Talk about awesome, this StarCraft 2 siege tank from drakmin is so well designed, built, photographed and edited that it looks more like box or concept art. But no, it's an actual MOC and it's totally badass. Yes, it's been around for a while, but this picture is new so I don't know if I'd call it MOCstalgia or not, hmmm. Check out the video as well, sweet!

This'll be a blast!

Finrodias

Feast your eyes on this! Just last Tuesday we were treated to the Kingdom of Renroth, now POCKYLAND is back with another absolutely mind-boggling build. Not only that, but another build called Renerrost slipped under the radar since then. I wish I have more info to share about these amazing builds, but you'll have to be content with with the total jollification of eye candy. Do yourself a favor and click through and view some high res pics, enjoy!

The Pale Man

One of the creepiest characters of Guillermo del Toro's masterpiece Pan's Labyrinth was the pale man. The fairy-eating, food-hoarding guardian of the blade. It's no secret I worked on this film, as a matter of fact, I created the pale man's palm eyeballs (the digital ones). It's great to see him in brick form thanks to the efforts of twice-blogged-in-one-day The Deathly Halliwell.

No, I Am Your Father

Spoiler alert! Yup, it turns out Darth Vader is Luke's father, none of us saw that coming. I can clearly recall seeing this in the theater with my grandmother (bless her heart, she didn't know what was going on, "now, that's the bad guy right?"). I also remember nearly dropping my Milkduds with this revelation. Nice build and photo storm TK431.
