Feast your eyes on this! Just last Tuesday we were treated to the Kingdom of Renroth, now POCKYLAND is back with another absolutely mind-boggling build. Not only that, but another build called Renerrost slipped under the radar since then. I wish I have more info to share about these amazing builds, but you'll have to be content with with the total jollification of eye candy. One of the creepiest characters of Guillermo del Toro's masterpiece Pan's Labyrinth was the pale man. The fairy-eating, food-hoarding guardian of the blade. It's no secret I worked on this film, as a matter of fact, I created the pale man's palm eyeballs (the digital ones). It's great to see him in brick form thanks to the efforts of twice-blogged-in-one-day The Deathly Halliwell.
Spoiler alert! Yup, it turns out Darth Vader is Luke's father, none of us saw that coming. I can clearly recall seeing this in the theater with my grandmother (bless her heart, she didn't know what was going on, "now, that's the bad guy right?"). I also remember nearly dropping my Milkduds with this revelation. Nice build and photo storm TK431.
If I could figure out a way of making the classic Zelda "you got something cool" musical sting when you view this I would. Builder Baron Julius Von Brunk has mashed up LEGO mosaic and classic Lite-Bright to great effect, using LED strips to backlight Link with the triforce. Check out Instuctables to see how it's done.

I'm a drummer. Well, I guess I need to elaborate on that. I have a Roland electronic drum set, and I make noise with it on occasion. It's actually been a while, but I'm seriously considering moving it to my new studio where I can rock out with my headphones on. So the first thing that I noticed from this awesome MOC and pic by MikeVD was the drum set. But the whole thing just rocks.
Sometimes when inspiration strikes, you just don't argue. Take for instance this camera by the great Carl Merriam. Sure it was late, sure he was supposed to be going to bed, then the sun was coming up and this beauty was on his workbench. Sleep is overrated really.
You all know what a huge Star Wars original trilogy nerd I am. So how could I resist this totally sweet MOC by -derjoe-? Although it is inspired by a scene that was unnecessarily mucked with for the special edition. Why adding eight more guys and a clumsy walking dewback was supposed to make it better is beyond me. Speaking of dewbacks, check out this baby, built from 1400 olive green plates. This is from the book Build Your Own Galaxy, which I've not seen yet but clearly need to.
Let's face it, elves can be jerks. And one of the biggest, jerkiest elves is Thranduil (not that I'm 100% on the dwarves side, they can be jerks too). But what he lacks in tact, compassion and like-ability he makes up for in panache and style (except maybe that stupid crown). Flick user lisqr certainly has panache and style as well, and this MOC shows it.
I've always enjoyed an ice cold Coca-Cola. I don't drink it as much these days, but when I do I especially love one bottled in Mexico and made with cane sugar (mmmm). I'm also old enough to remember vending machines like this one (hey, they were old when I was young, but they still worked). This version by CustomBRICKS pretty much nailed it.
Having built a few trees recently I know how fragile and fiddly they can be. And I can't imagine how fragile and fiddly this one by studio tidepool is. But it's also absolutely beautiful.
I wish to complain about this parrot what I purchased not half an hour ago from this very boutique.

He-Man arrived on the scene just a tad too late for me. When the series premiered I was just about to go into high school (oh gawd, I'm so old). And the movie never happened, got it? It just never happened, move on, nothing to see here. But I don't care if I ever watched it or not, this is a badass rendition of Skeletor. Powerpig strikes again.
To properly appreciate this awesome MOC by -derjoe-, you need to play the "Throne Room and End Title" from the Star Wars soundtrack while gawking at it. Of course even if you don't have it handy, you're now humming it in your head. You're welcome.
What do you get when you cross a pit bull with a tank and mix in a little robotics? No idea, but I'm guessing something like this awesome six-legged mech by Cole Blaq. How much fun would this thing be to drive around? Especially in an urban environment, "accidentally" crushing the random Prius and stuff.
I would not have thought this possible, or at least I would not have thought to attempt this. But Amida Na did and I'm so happy for it. If you do not know, the golden ratio is both a mathematical and aesthetic ratio of about 1.618 to 1. Look at your fingers, each digit is about 1.618 of the next. Artists have been using calipers like this for ages, and now LEGO builders can too.
Say you had to maneuver a 40,000 pound cargo container of cat litter, and while you were at it, 17 cases of vienna sausages, 9 cylinders of helium and a couple 50 gallon drums of lubricant (what can I say, it's gonna be a wild party). Normally you'd have a hard time with this, but not of you have access to a AP 35-T!
